Aurora Resort - Studio VI 2024

For my final college project, I chose to design a hospitality space inspired by a location I hold dear—Barra de São Miguel, Alagoas. Known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs, Barra de São Miguel provides a peaceful escape. Visitors can immerse themselves in the serene environment, exploring fishing villages, lush coconut groves, and expansive sugarcane fields. The area also offers guided rainforest walks, showcasing a rich array of plants and wildlife. The concept behind the resort is to create an open, airy space that embraces the natural surroundings. The design focuses on minimal walls in the main building, allowing the gentle breeze to flow freely in and out, enhancing the connection between the indoor and outdoor environments.
